Serpentine: Pumpkin (2024)

Serpentine and The Royal Parks present Pumpkin (2024), a large-scale sculpture by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, displayed at the Round Pond in Kensington Gardens from 9 July to 3 November 2024. This 6-metre tall bronze pumpkin marks Kusama's return to Serpentine, where her first UK retrospective was held in 2000. Known for her polka dot-covered pumpkins, Kusama’s work creates an engaging dialogue with its surroundings. This installation continues Serpentine's tradition of integrating art with the landscape.
