Brompton Design District is an engaging mix of global design brands and cultural institutions, alongside a programme of exhibits curated by Alex Tieghi-Walker.
This year’s curated programme, Perfectly Imperfect, looks beyond the finished object to reveal the processes that shape it: experiments, revisions, conversations, material discoveries and unexpected directions.
Across the District, designers and makers are invited to make these processes visible. Studios become working spaces, exhibitions bring different disciplines into dialogue, and projects use storytelling, food, play and gathering to explore design as something shaped through collective experience.
Together, these projects shift the emphasis from presenting certainty to exposing inquiry. Perfectly Imperfect celebrates the marks of making, the knowledge embedded in process and the human relationships that allow creative work to evolve.
