Artist Ian Garlant works from his studio in Norway at the base of the Hardanger fjord where the natural environment plays an intrinsic role in his creative practice.

Best known for a distinguished career in fashion and couture, UnEarth is Garlant’s first solo London exhibition of works of art. Working with the natural environment, Garlant burns, bathes, sands and scrapes pre–used utilitarian building materials which are reborn through the making process into something mysterious and surprising as the earth itself.
