mint is pleased to announce the opening of its new showroom at 2 North Terrace in the Brompton Quarter.

In celebration, mint kicks-off with a revealing show exploring the personal narratives found in contemporary design. Mint Tells Tales is a visionary composition of designs chosen for their ability to represent a series of modern day stories in an intriguing and innovative way. Curated by Lina Kanafani, the show will weave together select new pieces from both established and up-coming designers with unique stories to tell.

For the show mint is pleased to have a promotional partnership with the Victoria and Albert Museum in their summer exhibition Telling Tales which explores the fantastical narratives in design. Exhibits will include a unique Smoke mirror by Maarten Baas and a limited edition Catastrophe Vase by Maxim Velcovsky, both acquired from the mint collection.

Among mint’s renowned exhibitors will be Established & Sons, featuring new works by Maarten Baas, Matali Crasset, Sam Hecht, Sylvain Willenz, Richard Woods and Sebastian Wrong. On show from Moroso designs by Tord Boontje, Nipa Doshi, Jonathan Levien and Patricia Urquiola will be on show. The exhibition will also introduce mint’s personal selection of up-coming designers, including Richard Doss, Tiago da Fonseca, Alon Meron, James Plumb, Marie Retpen, Michelle Shields, Lisa Stockham, Georgie Thorp, Shan Valla and Grace Wilson.

In addition mint will feature new works by acclaimed designers Shay Alkalay, Fian Andrews, Kathy Dalwood and Reuber Henning.
