From the 19th to the 25th of February, coinciding with London Fashion Week 2009, menswear fashion designer Peter Maxwell Smith and designer Cristian Zuzunaga will present QUADRATSQUARE, their latest collaborative project since the duo graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2007.

The pair met while studying their MA at the Royal College of Art, in 2006. Sharing a common fascination of living in the digital age and exploring the city as a gravitational force that pulls us towards it, they created a powerful menswear collection called QUADRAT. Inspired by the Pixel, Supermodern architecture and global cities such as Barcelona, London, New York or Shanghai, the collection aimed to encourage interaction and playfulness through the function and aesthetics of their clothing.

QUADRATSQUARE, a menswear collection of eight graphically engineered shirts, represents the come back of the pair and the continued research of the relationship that exists between the digital age, the urban environment and how both dramatically condition the lives of us urban men and women.
