Assemblages is the first gallery exhibition of work by the Danish visual artist, Anne Harild, with the British composers, Edmund Finnis and Orlando Higginbottom. The work in this show is a continuation of the collaborators’ shared preoccupation with finding ways in which a limited range of pre–proscribed materials can be arranged and processed to create imagined spaces, aural and physical, whose characteristics indirectly reflect the nature of our own built environment. The show consists of two recent sculptural animations with originally composed music — projected within structures designed and built for the exhibition — and a series of related works on paper.
